Frequently asked questions
learn more about art psychotherapy
Below I answer the most common questions I receive about art psychotherapy.
If you are looking for a more detailed explanation about what art therapy is in general, you can find information about this and my services
here. If you have a question about art psychotherapy and
my services in North London, do not hesitate to call me.
How many sessions will I need?
Art psychotherapy sessions last for 50 minutes and are usually weekly. Each person is unique so the number of sessions you attend will vary but I would recommend an initial introductory session followed by a period of 4 sessions to enable you to see if art psychotherapy is for you. We will work together to tailor the sessions to your particular needs.
How much does a session cost?
£60 per session.
Do I have to bring my own art materials?
I provide art materials although you are free to bring materials of your own.
What should I do next?
If you are interested in having art psychotherapy then email or call to arrange a 20 minute talk on the phone where you have the opportunity to ask questions and I can find out more about you and what you are looking for. We would then arrange a time and date for an introductory session where we can meet in person.
